The Sausalito Ferry to Hell
Peril and Betrayal Await on the Waters of San Francisco Bay

Sean O'Farrell thought he’d seen it all, but the depths of treachery in San Francisco know no bounds. As whispers of danger drift through the fog-filled air, Sean boards the Sausalito Ferry—only to find himself caught in a web of deceit that stretches far beyond the city’s shores.
In a case that takes him from the bustling streets of San Francisco to the windswept deck of a ferry boat, Sean faces old enemies, new threats, and the kind of betrayal that cuts deep. Amidst the glint of gunmetal and the murmur of secrets, he must confront the shadows lurking around every corner—both within the city and himself. McCracken crafts a taut mystery that blends gritty action with moments of surprising vulnerability, capturing a slice of 1930s noir at its best.
Perfect for fans of hard-boiled detective fiction and richly atmospheric tales, "The Sausalito Ferry to Hell" delivers suspense, danger, and a mystery that refuses to be forgotten.

What Readers are Saying
"Mr McCracken spins an excellent detective tale. Granted, other than a few minor editorial and technical issues, (DRUM magazines, not "barrel") I had a very enjoyable read"
"I have read both of books of the series and found them to be very enjoyable. Just like the first one, the second was hard to put down. The characters were well thought out and well delivered.
I am looking forward to the next Sean O'Farrell novel."
"I listened to the audiobook version of this title. It was read by the author. I've listened to thousands of audiobooks and I am pretty particular about the quality of the narrator so...good job Mark. The only problem was that the audio quality and the editing of the product was less than stellar which detracted from the listening experience. However, the book was great. I liked that Sean O'Farrell is a good guy in a sometimes gritty profession. There was witty conversation between characters. The plot had interesting twists and the characters were credible. A little salty language and gritty situations. The book is set in the 1930's and I felt the characters and story line were true to the time, and after all this is fiction.
When will we see Sean O'Farrell again?"
"I just finished and can not wait for the sequel. I was somewhat reluctant to read this as I have tried other books which try to recreate the hard-boiled private eye and was always disappointed- but this was thoroughly enjoyably and well written. Great plot but the real surprise was the character development. You won’t be disappointed!"
